John Fisher is a 16-year Navy Veteran, a devoted husband, and father of two. A graduate of the US Naval Academy Class of 2006, John served on active duty for the first 13 years of his career. After earning his “Wings of Gold,” John flew the F/A-18C Hornet. He deployed as part of the Unit Deployment Program to Iwakuni, Japan where his squadron served as a supplement to the Marine Corps Units acting as a quick reaction force and deterrent to hostilities on the Korean Peninsula. After his deployment to Japan John helped oversee his squadron’s return to a traditional Navy seagoing squadron. After earning a Master’s Degree from the Naval Postgraduate School, John transferred to Naval Air Station Meridian to instruct new Navy jet pilots in the T-45C Goshawk. John left active duty in January 2019 and still instructs students on the T-45 as a Navy reservist to this day.
